Frequently asked questions

Practical answers for planning your days in Agadir and the Souss.

Planning

How do I book an experience?

There is no online booking on this site. Email us at contact@agadirbouffitours.com with your dates, group size, hotel area and the experience you are interested in, and we will reply with what can be arranged.

Do you show prices on the website?

No. Arrangements depend on your dates, group and requests, so we discuss details by email rather than publishing fixed offers.

Can experiences be private?

Private arrangements can be requested. Mention it in your email and we will tell you what is possible.

Which language do you plan in?

Planning is in English by email.

Agadir & the region

How far is the airport from Agadir?

Agadir Al Massira Airport is around 25 km south-east of the city centre.

How far is Marrakech?

Around 250 km — roughly three hours each way by motorway, which makes a day trip long but possible.

When are the waves best for surfing?

The most consistent swells generally arrive from about September to April. Beginners can often find smaller waves outside those months.

Is Paradise Valley always full of water?

No. The pools depend on recent rainfall and can be low after dry periods.

When is Souk El Had closed?

The market is closed on Mondays.

Travelling respectfully

What should I wear?

Light clothing is fine at the beach. In markets, the medina of Marrakech and villages, covering shoulders and knees is respectful.

Can I photograph people?

Always ask first. Many stallholders and handlers are happy to say yes; some prefer not.

What language is spoken in Agadir?

Tachelhit (an Amazigh language) and Moroccan Arabic are widely spoken; French is common and English is increasingly heard in tourist areas.
